Hey bros, just want to let everyone know I almost died today. I dropped 380 lbs on my chest today from the fully extended position. It hurt like hell. I was doing my routine flat bench pyramid with weight I have been comfortable with for a while. anyway, the wierdest shit happened. I took my liftoff and started down slowly and about 2 inches down my wrists folded and the bar rolled off my hands onto my chest bouncing 2 times on my midsection. holy shit that hurt bad. I thought I was dead since I couldnt breathe or move. Just wanted to pass this on so someone can learn from this, no matter how easy the weight may be to press, something else on your body might give out on you during your lift. My spotter is pretty good guy but he was very surprised this happened since he mainly doesnt need to help until my last set. kind of like warming up with medium weight, not really ready for problems. I got some morphine and vicatin along with 6 severely bruised ribs, a bruised left lung and a bruised spleen. I am not sure what I will feel like tomorrow, but I am not looking forward to waking up. Feels like I got ran over by a semi. cant breathe deeply, or turn my steering wheel while driving home. See you guys. I am gonna be out on the sidelines for a while. Sucks because I am in post cycle right now 2 weeks out and I put on some quality mass and got pretty leaned and ripped as well. I might walk on treadmill for long time. See ya, this morphine is making me ramble I think.
