carbs after 6PM??

I'm on a high pro moderate carb low fat diet.....I usually get over 200g of protein ,100-150g of carbs and 30-40g of fat....I'm doing cardio in the morning for empty stomach 4-5 times a week for 30 minutes .
So is it true that you shouldn't eat carb after 6or 8PM??or it's just a myth??
Please help me out on this??
 
You will get replies saying its a no go and saying its a myth.

I dont think its a problem if done in moderation....I dont eat carbs after dinner.
 
I personally don't eat carbs after dinner either. Even with dinner I stay away from a lot of complex carbs like bread and go for something like brocolli or a spinach salad or anything like that. Just what works for me.

still wanna what hear Hansel and other people think though...
 
I like to switch it up, sometimes Ill have brown rice and others Ill just have broccoli. Mix it up, keep your body guessing.
 
I've heard not to eat carbs late in the day as well. I'm planning to do just that and avoid carbs after about 7:00pm. My question is about macro nutrient combinations and tapering. If I understand it right it goes like this. Never mix fat and carbs, so eat meals that are protein and carbs or protein and fats. Also taper means that you eat the first meals of the day protein and carbs and the last meals of the day protein and fat. How does that sound?
 
Cobra, that`s what I`m doing now it seems to be working. but I workout late so I`m done at 7:30 sometimes so after a dextrose whey shake then about an hour or so later I have a carb and pro meal at 8:30-9:00. then one last meal at 11 or so.
