WW's New SUMMER Log ...

WoNderWoMan25 said:
Alright T, where are you? I had a really really great ground sirloin burger last night and thought I did ya proud - no boca burgers for this girl. I tried the birdseye steamperfect mixed veggies with it - broccoli, water chestnuts and carrots - I ate almost the entire bag myself!!

Meal 6 was two tbsp chunky ANPB

Somehow I missed a meal - no fiber one w/skim yesterday.

Sirloin? As in real, red meat? I am VERY proud of you. How did you season it?

Nothing exciting - the red meat was exciting enough :D
I seasoned with garlic pepper and McCormick's salt-free steak seasoning. For next time, what do you recommend?

M1 - whey shake with 4 oz skim milk, water, ice and very small apple with 1 tsp anpb
M2 - 1/2 turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato, onion on low carb Italian herb bread with small Greek salad minus the dressing and olives
M3 - fiber one with skim
M4 - TBD
M5 - TBD

No workout tonight - Another high school football game. Then a semi-pro game tomorrow and the Hudson valley wine fest on Sunday!! (Yes, I am buying the $20 'taster' ticket).

Bunny/Jen - Wow. Talk about a cheat day. I love my red wine, but I think I was more excited about the food than the wine. They had this 'soul food' and Caribbean vendor there - I shared a plate full of jerk chicken, collard greens, rice & beans, mac & cheese, beef patties and hot-out-of-the-oven corn bread. Other than that, there was a dessert wine that I bought - I'm thinking I could heat it and drizzle it over poached pears. Also tried a white wine sangria that was phenomenal.

gOOD mORNING!

sounds yummmmmy!

Hi CK! It was so good - And of course, my reservations about eating crap went out the window once I tasted some wine on an empty tummy. Fortunately, I didn't want to eat after the festival, so I had a protein shake before bed and woke up today back on track. :)

You have no idea. I was tempted to ask the woman at the stand if I could pay her to come live with me and cook for me. She was over six feet tall, and built like a linebacker - very black/island looking, too. I imagine I would end up weighing 500 pounds, but it would probably be worth it. :chomp:

M1 -- whey shake with water, ice, skim
M2 -- ezekiel wrap w/healthy choice ham and turkey, lettuce, tomato, onion
M3 -- med granny smith apple, 1 tbsp anpb

**WORKOUT** One Hour Cardio
I found that last week the elliptical machine felt too bouncy. I plan on 20 minutes incline treadmill @ 3.8 to 4 MPH and 40 minutes stationary bike.

M4 -- chicken breast, broccoli
M6 -- TBD, I need to grocery shop. The wine fest was more important yesterday. On the list are eggs, fresh/frozen veggies, sweet potatoes, tilapia or orange roughy.

Sounds like the perfect cheat day...yummy! That hot-out-of-the-over corn bread has me drooling just thinking about it :p
