Ok. Started adding back the carbs about 5 days ago.
Taking ALA (300-400mg) with my carb meals, but did miss a few times. Tried to keep carb meals to just a couple times a day, and early in the day.
Went to Arkansas to see some of my wife's family and check out a festival that was going on this last weekend. ALA most likely saved my life. Still made the effort to keep everything in check. If mid to higher GI stuff had to be eaten, I tried to get plenty of fibrous veggies or fiber in with it to slow digestion down some.
Now back to a normal schedule and only have carbs for breakfast
(oatmeal), 2nd meal (tuna pita) and post workout.
I look fuller and my abs actually show up better because of the fullness. Weight went from 172-174 last morning of CKD, to a
consistant 175 lbs the last 4 days. Still doing about 12xbw just to be safe. Next week may up it to maximize any rebound gains that may occur. Workout is new as of Monday. Doin' a modified 5x5 since there is less lifting to failure, and my cals are still low.
