I have read aboiut this guy who is naturalk and works out 11-12 times per week! How can a natural pull it off? Even juiced to the gills pro bodybuilders train with atleast HALF of volume!

what gives?

Does he take huge amount of steroids or something. 4-5 days per week would be fine. But not 2 per day for 6 days strait!

That is not possible. 11 or 12 "workouts" LMFAO does he count walking down the stairs and making breakfast a workout or what?

btw: don't take things for face value all the time, obviously that's a bunch of b.s.

From everything that I understand and have read Serious Growth, Big Beyond Belief, created by Leo Costa Jr. calls for anywhere from 6-18 workouts per week depending on what Variant you decide to train with. That program is designed for naturals too! Its all about controlled overtraining supposedely. That is normally completely insane though to try and train anymore than 4-5x per week max without injecting.

Just my opinion.
:):)

I am natural and I get 7 workouts in with two days off not including cardio. I go mon, tue, thursday am, thursday pm, friday am, friday pm, saturday am. How do i do this or why one it is so I can focus on the body part plus give extra attention to body parts that are hardgains for me:
mon: Chest
Tues: legs
thursday am: shoulders/traps
thursday pm: arms
friday am: back
friday pm: light chest(low weight high rep)
saturday am: light legs(low weight high rep)

by the way pro bodybuilders usually do an am and a pm split of their workout putting them at anywere from 8 to 10 workouts in a week. And as long as you spread out your workouts properly and get good nutrition even those of us who are natural can do it.

Many of you make gear out to be some magical substance. It does increase recovery time but this quote almost makes it seem like it does the work for those that use gear. Gear using bodybuilders are way bigger than nattys because of the gear but still have to work just as hard if not harder plus watch their nutrition and rest the same as nattys do.

He probablly eats very well and sleeps a lot.
The volume of his training is probably very small.

The 12 work outs probably work out to be the same as 4 of yours.

I dont think he would be doing 12 full on work outs.

I tried a program and i benched 2 times a day then the next day squated 2 times a day next day benched........so on and so forth.

Because i would only use 5x5 or 2x7 the volume was very low. it worked a treat as well.

remember natural these days means you use steroids but dont use insulin or HGH.

Only my personal opinion here....

I guess, at least to me, it depends on what you refer to as a workout. Now, to some it means, as was mentioned early, walking downtown to the gym... a cardio workout. Some think that reading a magazine is a workout..... don't laugh.... saw a guy do it. I was in the gym myself and he came in and did about two sets of 10 situps then went to the rest area. When his friend showed up he said that he had already finished his workout..(HA HA).
To me on the other hand, I count working out as the time I spend in the gym each day, regardless of the number of times I visited it that day. If someone where to ask me how often I workout.... I could say twice a day four times a week.... where does it stop and where does it start.... some want others to bow down to them and worship them because they "attend" the gym so many times per week..... all I can say is

"talk blows while results show"

Its possible

The intensity must be kept extremely high and the volume kept very low to accomplish this without burning out though. When I say intensity i'm not referring to perception of effort I am referring to the percentage of 1 rep maximum lifted. Working out til failure is obviously not a good choice with this type of training but it can be extremely effective.

I don't know about you guys but I have stuff to do during the day like WORK. I don't have time to workout 11-12 times a week or whatever that is. 4-5 is the limit for me.

that I can completely understand. I have two jobs on the weekends i am one of the managers of a local gentelmans club and during the week I actaully work at a gym so it is easier for me. You do have a valid point there. getting in over 5 workouts a week and getting proper rest and making sure you get the right nutrition is very hard when you work 40+ and its not in a gym.
