Went in and did something different today. Since the incline was being used we went and did flat bench for the first time in a many months. Most likely over a year. Went up and did a single with 335 for a PR. Shoulder doesnt like the way flat bench feels. Can definitely feel the pain it causes. Incline bench doesn't hurt at all compared to flat so we will stay away from flat bench and concentrate on inlcline exclusively since our gym has a crappy bench to start with. Not wide enough and the starting point is way too high with no adjustments so it sucks for the wife as she cant get tucked in lockout position. Had a massive PR on incline bench following the flat bench. 8 weeks ago I maxed out and did 1 rep with 335. Today I was pre exhausted and went up to 340 for a set of 3. I could have done 4 or 5 but didnt want to push my luck. Very excited about that!!! I think 365 in within reach by years end. Also did DB incline flys for the first time in many years. Had a good stretch at the bottom with good control. Will be likely doing these every chest day for the rest of the year. Will just go up 5 lbs each week until I fail. Doing deadlifts on Friday. Ok everyone have a good solid week ahead.

Today was a milestone for myself. Finally broke the 600 lb deadlift barrier. 575 was my best before today. So now I have to hold back and wait another month before attempting again. I feel every 4 weeks is about my limit on maxing on deadlift. Hoping to break 625 around my birthday this Christmas. Also tried out the glute kickback machine today. Will most likely do it every squat day from now on. Need to do the support muscles as they have been neglected over the years. Didnt eat too much and even skipped dessert yesterday after eating prime rib. Slept for just over 10 hours after dinner last night. Strength is still picking up while eating on average of 2000 cals per day. Waist is still getting tighter. Planning to do 305 for sets of 7 next week on incline as I dont see any reason why my strength will fall at this point. Just finished 4 weeks on Tbol and Anavar. Have another 4 weeks to go at 40mg of each per day. Not changing a damn thing. When things are working keep it the same until it doesn't. Ok everyone have a nice weekend and get Strong AF!!!

I should lose a bunch of weight in the process as muscle/excess water weight will drop during the taper. As long as I am stronger I don't give a shit. I will have plenty of time to slowly put the muscle back on with IGF in the fridge. Ok everyone have a great week ahead and get strong AF!!!

I also wanted to point out that every single set I did in the gym is listed including the 4 warmup sets for deadlifts. I have a belief that once your main exercise is warmed up there is no reason to waste sets going forward unless its a completely different muscle group that didnt get any blood flow in the first exercise.

Also I'm feeling ya on the whole sleep situation as well,I basically had insomnia for 6 month on NPP,waking up every 2-3 hours it was not good,then I changed to tren and I sleep like a baby lol go figuer it a similar compound being a 19nor but on tren I sleep,eat,train and grow easily,don't think I'll use NPP again!

Today was the start of a taper that will last 3 weeks. Going to try and max out at as close to 365 on the incline bench as possible by years end. Cut all tricep work out today and will only do a couple tricep exercises on arm day if at all. Might even skip arm/delt day until after the year to help the taper. If not we might just go really light and deload on those days just to keep blood pumping and recovering from everything else. I felt so strong on my pec/dec fly machine today. Able to do the stack with perfect form with nice long stretch and hold on top and bottom. Felt explosive. Probably not going to do them next week and help the taper even more.

Also went to a powerlifting meet this weekend. Man all I could think of is I want to get on that platform and compete and see how far I can go. I really want to break those records. I would have a fun time going up against the 20 year old crowd. Would be fun to smoke em!!! Planning on possibly looking for a powerlifting meet in Mid May which would be about 12 weeks into my next cycle. Most likely going to be a Test/Primo cycle as I dont want to gain any muscle mass. I need to be able to stay under 220 lbs for the competition so I will have to do a water cut to make weight when I do it. Ok everyone have a nice strong week ahead and get Strong AF!!!

If not we might just go really light and deload on those days just to keep blood pumping and recovering from everything else. I felt so strong on my pec/dec fly machine today. Able to do the stack with perfect form with nice long stretch and hold on top and bottom. Felt explosive. Probably not going to do them next week and help the taper even more.

Also went to a powerlifting meet this weekend. Man all I could think of is I want to get on that platform and compete and see how far I can go. I really want to break those records. I would have a fun time going up against the 20 year old crowd. Would be fun to smoke em!!! Planning on possibly looking for a powerlifting meet in Mid May which would be about 12 weeks into my next cycle. Most likely going to be a Test/Primo cycle as I dont want to gain any muscle mass. I need to be able to stay under 220 lbs for the competition so I will have to do a water cut to make weight when I do it. Ok everyone have a nice strong week ahead and get Strong AF!!!

220 is target and I would even settle for 215 if possible. I just don't want to beat my body up getting there.

and you wouldnt lose strength? not all for sure , if gear is there and food is there why would you lose it :)

Could have done more but I want to see how high I can get by the years end so I have 2 more sessions left to peak to the fullest. Feels good to have zero shoulder pain today. Took a meloxicam last night and it completely took care of the inflammation. I can imagine my body will probably start twitching from all the energy being stored up from tapering so much. Feels good on the body. Almost like a deload but better as peaking for heavy lifts is alot more fun. I will be back on Friday for possibly attempting 635 on my conventional deadlift. I will at least attempt to do it. If I fail I will most likely hit it the following week as my body will at least know what the weight feels like. Ok everyone have a good finish to the week.

I had homemade beef soup so more carbs and sodium than normal. I always eat more on lifting days to help recovery and muscle growth.

Nothing wrong with extra sodium if blood pressure is under control which it is. I should buy a ham. They are on sale for under $2 lb where I live.

Yes but I dont need them. I was just using as precaution for tren and anadrol. Will be dropping them. Blood pressure is around 120/68 on a regular basis even with higher sodium. My doctor even said not to worry about sodium levels. In fact he said I can raise them since I work out so hard. My doctor has been with the United States Ski team for years so he knows about athletes and what I do.
