George Foreman grill... worth it?

It'd be nice if they made removable grill plates... that wouldn't be difficult. Maybe George will take a hint.

I have an "off-brand" grill...I think it is a windmere and the plates do come out AND they are dishwasher safe!

Yes, its wortht he investment....

I don't understand the hard to clean issue....

After cooking, take a few paper towels, wipe the grooves out....

The grill is the bomb and not hard to clean i dont clean mine to the next day then just wipe it with a paper towel

Do any of you have any problems with your chicken (or any meat that you cook on it for that matter) getting like tough on the outside? It seems like my chicken breasts get really tough and if I take them off before they get tough, then the inside isn't done. I have the really big grill, but it's not the one with the heat settings. Any ideas as to how to prevent this from happening. I've tried spraying the girll with Pam before cooking, too, but that didn't help...

Thanks!!

I think the solution for cleaning is timing and consistancy....

If possibly....clean right after the thing has cooled down...don't wait till is hard, dry and crusty....

I usually just use a paper towel.....

grilled cheese is an easy fix. try it sparingly. I agree with others, cleaning it sux. I have a system so it only takes a few minutes.
