George Foreman grill... worth it?

cleaning the foreman ...

Yah they are a pain in the ass, i saw once some sized grill scrapers for them ... but if you dont have a teflon sage bbq brush hand, just use a toothbrush ... so far it seems to work well , and if yer like me and dont get at it while its still warm, plug it in for a few then go at it ... the toothbrush works great at getting all that shit out

My Kingdom for an immersible foreman!!!

You here me george???

i got the foreman and at first it was great but now after trying a few different recipes I don't think so. I agree with jerry's chicken cooking method. CHicken goes really well with olive oil, lemon and pepper. Also, chicken, olive oil, and oregano or italian seasonings ...then put the strips into your favorite spaghetti dish....great for after workouts. lotsa recipes out their.

Also guys try and spraying it with Pam.
And clean while still a little warm with a paper towel.

This may help..

My Bride loves to use the grill. In the Summer it's the Weber.
In the Winter it's George. I think the easy clean up is the reason.

Best $20 I ever spent. And as for cleaning... it is simple and easy... I unplug it and throw it in the sink and use the hose (whatever it's called) and spray it down and then wipe it off when I am done eating. I don't want to hear anyone saying it is dangerous because I've had the thing for over a year. Just make sure you unplug it :p

Peace

Clean when hot!!

As soon as your done (while your chicken is in the foil:p ) Wet a few paper towels and wipe.

If you wait till after you eat, its a pain in the ass.

I've had a basic Forman grill for years, just got a Forman Fussion Grill a few months ago. I love it even more. Easier to clean, cooks nice and fat free, and keeps my chicken breasts soooo moist. Also cooks some great vegies tossed right in with the chicken.

AFTER YOU REMOVE YOUR FOOD.

Take some wet paper towels and lay them on the grill and close it

The steam will keep the remains moist, after you finish eating

wipe it down with a dry paper towel. very simple and easy clean up.

Heres a solution to the George Foreman grill problem... go and buy a Hamilton Beach Mealmaker Express (indoor grill) its the best one out there and is easy to clean you just remove the whole grill plates and throw them in the dishwasher
