This is my schedule...

mon - chest and tris
tues - off
wed - back and bis
thur - off
fri - shoulders and legs

alright this is my first week back after about a month and a half break, now im still sore from mondays workout and and now yesterdays workout, my question is, should i skip shoulders tomorrow morning or work them out anyway? I dont want to overtrain my upperbody. My shoulders of course are not sore but working shoulders usually works some surrounding muscles anyway.

Thanks,
John

Do you think you'll be recovered after the weekend?

As long as it's not chronic overtraining, and you give yourself more than enough time and food to recover, I don't see an issue. I deadlift on Sundays with sore hamstrings from Friday, but by the next Friday, I'm recovered just fine.

Take it into consideration..

Yea by monday i think ill be fine, just wasnt sure if i should skip shoulders tomorrow morning being as my arms/chest/back are still sore.

Try switching up your wed and fri and you might notice a better build because it will give you a nice rest between your t major upper body muscle groups which are your chest and back

Personally, I think you should always train your legs on a separate day. In fact list your current leg routine. I don't see how can train delts first, then manage to pund your legs into submission.

Give it a shot 2 days to rest and eat as much as you want, the only negative thing that can happen is you get sore and learn not to do it next time, Seeker is right about switching up it may help a lot...

louden's right. Also, imo, delts should be given the same priority as any other large muscle group. People neglect delts too much. I think heavy militaries are just as important(if not more important) than bench, and you certainly can't do those with squats.

I never worked my legs before, i would usually just do upperbody. But i want the full effect now and want to make sure that everything gets bigger evenly. I am probably only going to be doing light squats, leg press, standing calf raise, sitting calf raise to start out with.

I agree. You should do legs on their own day. You shouldn't be able to move after a successful leg workout not to mention be able to do shoulders.
