Maddox2010's KETO BURN Log

Another good option for cardio (if this doesn't put strain on the ankle) is incline treadmill walking. Just raise it up to 10%-15% and walk at 3-3.5 MPH. It gives a great low intensity burn. Its my favorite form of LISS cardio
 
Took the weekend off to handle things at Jersey shore.

Monday was an added day off due to a sick kid in the house.

Legs went as planned except I did not plan on hobbling out.

Heavy legs curls, followed by squats. Again heavy extensions to round out legs.

I wanted to try a method described and linked by a mod or member here, sorry can't remember. Called "killer calves".

Well this is contributing to the hobbling today and most likely tomorrow!

Got my cardio in this weekend insulating and drywalling, on reduced calories due to 6am-8pm schedule. I can't wait to see how I feel tomorrow. Need water feel very thirsty. My energy has not waivered a bit which is great!
 
Woke up feeling really trim in the waistline this morning no bloat. Must be the milk that is doing this. After rushing around getting kids off to school, I realized I didn't eat, damn!

As It didn't bother me too much when years ago that is how my 6am workout went.

Wake- workout- eat. That was then.

Well I did function fine throughout but forgot my wraps, as today was back, bis and traps.

My back has really responded since getting back in the gym, making a huge difference in my appearance. Today again if I was able to hold onto the weight I know my back would have come thru. Though this tells me grip work is needed now that the numbers are going up!

Strong contolled straight bar work today. Not overly pumped but strong nonetheless! It wasn't til seated hammers that my arms began to swell. Leaving me to hit preachers last with great blood flow. Arms at that point felt incredible.

Today for me at least, is evident that KETO BURN is working.
 
Yesterday I trained on a tight schedule, but yet a satisfying workout all the same.

I opted to start with the bench press. For now at least, this will be the staple of my chest routine. My confidence has increased over the past months in my shoulder to feel comfortable again going forward. I first did them again a few weeks ago with 225lbs for 4 sets, but the controlled reps that I was use to was n't there. After warming up shoulders I pushed cleanly up to my last set. Felt a sense of accomplishment not having to throw the weight, but lower pause push consistently.

Tris, I can say were smoked and having tri work still left to due, I decide closegrips for today were out.

Picked JM presses on a smith machine to lock my movement in. This allows me to use as much weight with out sacrificing form. Vbar pressdowns were followed then by reverse extensions one arm at a time.

Although under the gun for time, this was an excellent workout. PCT for me is going great! Libido, ha, my wife wishes I didn't have one. I am always READY.

Got in late last eve so logging had to wait.

Solid leg routine. Noticing my legs are coming along nicely. Prior to injury legs were in shape enough for apprehension purposes, but now I am beginning to gain thickness which is excellent!

Today I hit back, traps, and biceps!

Remembered my wraps and all back movements went up without sacrificing form. I talking 40lbs to nearly 60lbs on all pulling movements. Very happy!

Not to be out done, curling for me was AWESOME! Full on pump and strength to boot! Heavy preachers followed by straight bar curls. Here I added 20lbs for straight set of 12. Without any shoulder movement were elbows would come forward. All bicep! Hammers fried my grip at this point so I finished up with seated machine curls.

Excellent day to be in the gym!!!!

Oh, and my wife said to me,"what was the name of the burner thing ur taking?", i said "KETO BURN". "Well it is working.", she says!!

Yeah baby, thx for noticing!!!!!!

How is it on your appetite? Is it the same or does Keto burn crush it a little?
