More times than I care to remember in college. Actually it happened at least once every 2 weeks when my advanced physics lab reports were due - start writing around noon the day before it was due, finish around noon right before it was due. Plenty of nights up all night debugging a program for class, trying to print it out on my ancient dot matrix printer before my cat sat on the top & backed it up, and then off to work to program some more. Most recently, this past September, up all night writing a proposal and then going off to look at booth construction for an upcoming trade show. It was brutal. I"m 40 for God's sake.
Those were good times indeed. I've I used to stay up 3-4 days out of the week for over two years. I'd start partying thursday night and go until I had to go to work on monday morning. Too much fun.
doing the 24 or 36 hrs in a row isnt that bad, and even the next day after u get some sleep isnt that bad, but the NEXT day is when you really feel completely out of sorts. at least thats the way my body responds.
