AM workouts while Cutting

Ok so i'm cutting right now, and i'd like to get in AM workouts on some of my late start school days. Here is my question, i'd like to do both weights and cardio and still have a max fat burning effect. Would i be able to get away with say 2 scoops of whey and a bananna before working out. That whay i use that fuel for lifting and hopefully am doing cardio on an empty tank. Thanks.
 
No, your body will burn that whey for fuel. The banana can't really be used for fuel as fructose doesn't convert to glucose. Once the whey has been used for fuel, then the body will use its fat stores and whatever may be in the glycogen stores.

Of course, calories in must be less than calories out, and no matter when you do cardio, it will help accomplish this.
