Ive had sleep apnea and use a machine for 10 years. Makes no difference if I use the machine or not in amount of sleep I get. I go to sleep for 2 hours and get up and eat and then go back to sleep for another 2 hours and do it again until I get 6-7 hours of sleep for the day. The older we get the less sleep I get in a row.I seem to recall it's a sleep apnea issue right?
