Don't you hate when this happens?? It drives me nutz!! ugh!!

I just go on these all-out things every now & then I guess.....

I know exactly how you feel....

I had mentioned earlier to Bunny that I wasn't even going to say what I ate 2 saturdays in a row a few weeks back but I"ll tell you because I know it will make you feel like you ate NOTHING!! Okay, I had a pint of Ben & Jerry's choc. fudge brownie ice cream earlier in the day but no, that wasn't enough so after I went swimming out at the river, I went and got this mint oreo cookie shake!!!! and it wasn't a kiddie size!! I did that two SAturdays in a row and then on the 2nd Saturday I figured-hell, i screwed up already today, might as well get a nice tasty dinner so I ate a freakin' big ass burrito!!!! with lots o cheese! Feel better??? I've lost 2lbs since then so it's not hard to remember how crappy you feel the next day and unsexy I felt as I tried to wear my bikini the next weekend :(

I ate just about everything my heart could've desired in 4 days! Brownies, german choc. cake, ice cream, :chomp: french fries, mcdonalds fish sandwich, :chomp: strawberry jello cake, great big sundae with heath bars and caramel, pizza burger....(I know ya'll are droolin'!)I feel like a failure! :worried:
still been doing my hiit though, I am proud of myself at least for that.(surely doesn't undo the damage though) But I haven't hit the weights. Kids are out on spring break and staying up late...so I fall asleep before i get my workout done.

Well, ladies, at least we are not alone -- we have each other & can understand our struggles together..... I'm trying to tell myself that I'm healthier than 85% of the general population....

Big  to both of you....

I completely agree Jens :) Don't feel like a failure!! We're human and yes, WE are healthier than most of the population. What I'm doing now is I think back about how I felt when I ate that food and what caused me to get to the point where I couldn't resist the junk and then I think about that and how much more important my well-being is and if I feel that I just can't get the craving out of my head, then I"ll have a small taste but so far I haven't felt like I needed it after I think about that previous stuff. This week is coming up on that time which is usually when my cravings are REALLY monstrous especially for salt but I'm seeing how healthy i've been eating this week and I feel great!!! No cramps, no bloating, nothing and I really believe it's because I haven't cheated :) We're here for you and NONE of us could ever judge or think bad of someone who splurges, just get on track tomorrow :D

You guys are evil. I'm 7 weeks out, follow a totally different protocol for diet & training and I am just watching to see how it goes because I have no previous experience with this or how it is supposed to work. Any room for cheats. Nope. None. Currently my "cheat" consists of mustard w/ my steak. Pretty rowdy huh?

My mantra is your post about 'cheat' meals :D

I  Sassy

P.S. AWESOME job Sassy, I am so proud of you and your rowdiness :rose:

Thanks guys!! You really made me feel better! It is very hard for me to get back on the horse when i've fallen off. But I keep thinking about summer coming and how i'm pushing my goal further away! It's hard!
Thanks for the support!

Just thought I would add for you ladies, usually when my ladie and I are training for show and have bad cravings, it is your body wanting fat. salt free peanuts in the shell always settle it for us. It is a good source of fat that will suppress that internal craving for fat, but like anything else have them in moderation....

****as I look in my desk drawer and realize I could down this bag of Raw Almonds Very easily to curb a craving*** :chomp:

If I ate this entire bag...let's see here
