first, carbs, fat, protien confuse me. while keeping track of intake are you supposed to count the grams of carbs/protien or hte percentages in the calories?

second i only need to lose 5 more pounds to be at my goal weight, will cutting out carbs help? i cut them out dramatically weeks ago but got off track in the past 2-3 weeks and have gained 5 pounds (i was at goal weight).

toning bands: do they really work to help tone the muscles? or should i just toss em? what about pilaties?

Depends on how you set up your diet but basically counting grams = percentages of calories (if you only have 5g of carbs in 2000 calories thats a certain %)

Cutting carbs can lead to weight regain once you stop. Mostly water however. If your that close to goal without cutting carbs just up cardio or *slightly* lower them. R-ALA from anabolicfitness is another good choice (see "Why R-ALA" stickey on anabolic board)

You cant tone muscles, it's a myth, tone = bodyfat %. Pilates could help with calorie burning (maybe? Not sure how strenuous it is). Are you lifting while dieting?
