KB's diet log - the fatness must be PWNED

Figure I will start a diet log, since my training logs have always helped. Brief situation:

Weight: around 178-180 (will weigh myself tomorrow)
BF: No idea. Estimate around 15-16%
Story: Have had an extruding disc (L5) for about 3 months now. I have turned into a fat shit cause I haven't been training and have been VERY WEAK with eating and sticking to my lifestyle. I have tried dozens of times to get back into it but I keep finding excuses. It's time to nut up and get it done. I am still in the rehabbing stage. Lots of stretching and minimal training (some upper body, limited lower body - all light weight). The good news is that physical aerobic activity makes my back feel great, so I have been doing a lot of cardio in the gym and outside of the gym (basketball, tennis, whatever). I can't run yet and moving on concrete is still a little problem (I shot hoops today for about 20 minutes and had to call it quits). Biking also feels good. I am in the busiest time of the year at work and will basically be on site at the US Open running around like a nut for 4 weeks end of Aug and into Sept. Still, I can't use that as an excuse to eat like shit.

Plan: As much activity as I can get in (biking, tennis, basketball, light jogging, eliptical, seated bike in the gym) to keep the back nice and loose. I will be training 3 days a week. Diet is below:

1 sc protein
1/3 cup Dextrose
1 chix br
1/2 cup rice
2 eggs
1 slice ch
1 sc protein
1.5 sc protein
1 tbs flax
1 chix br
6 flax pills
1.5 sc protein
1 tbs flax

The numbers and the convenience (very key for me) should work. I welcome any suggestions, but I do not plan on changing this plan much. I have learned enough to know that everyone has opinions and ideas and thoughts and I listen to them all, digest, and use what I know my body will react to.

The point of this log is for motivation, cause I have been straight up embarrased with myself lately. I have been weak and have made every excuse in the book (I am injured, work is crazy, stress, whatever). No more. Feel free to berate me if and when I slip.

Yeah where does your workout fall in with that? I know its only 3 days a week working out. Im guessing its early on where your carbs are... Youre getting a lot of protein powder too. Anything else you can eat? Turkey? Tuna? I see you have chicken already. Veggies are key to lose weight too I think.

Are you taking a multi? You might be missing on minerals and vitamins when you follow through the diet. Also you should supplement with some extra zinc on the side, the cheapest brands will do and maybe sub the flax for fish oil.

M W F early morn. mostly core stuff with a little upper body and a tiny bit of lower body. the protein powder is for convenience. as I said, I am out of control with work right now and will be at an event for the better part of a month. veggies - this is key and something I am always missing. my total cals are about where I want them to be, so not sure where I could fit them in, but definitely need to.

taking a multi vit, ALA, Ener G

I actually take a zinc pill already. the flax is actually substituted with fish with the pills. just didn't right it. I am kind of jaded right now with the insane detail I have gone into with training and eating the last year or so. trying to just relax a bit and just get it done - not worry about eating a tblsp and a half of ANPB instead of just a tbsp

Broccoli is a good veggie that will add almost no calories or carbs to your diet. Green beans is another good one.

I was thinking of this today, gonna toss in some greens with one of my chicken meals. It's needed. appreciate it everyone.

It's kind of nasty if you get the drinkable kind, but try to throw a fiber supplement in there as well. It will help clean out the crap you've been putting in your body, help you lose weight that isn't fat, (crazy how much gunk your intestines hold), and will help with protein and mineral absorption. Shitloads of water too, it actually burns calories, especially if you drink it very cold.

I drink probably 2 gallons a day - a lot for a kid my size. Fiber - I have thought about that in the past. It can't taste much worse than energ
