intermitted fasting=getting close to goal!!!

as you get older you will have to depend more on more on not just diet but also cardio.

Diet is the most important for weightloss and than weightlifting. last but not least is cardio. Weightlift burns fat while adding muscles to your body. Cardio only help burn fat if you have the proper diet. I lost 15lbs without cardio, i just diet and lift wieghts.

^this . diet has the biggest effect on fat loss. cardio is useful and important but alot of times people use cardio to try and burn the extra cals from a sloppy diet

yeah I lost 40 pounds in 1 month from just changing by diet years ago. however that wasn't my point.

my point is when you are young your maximum HR is 190. young as in in your early 20's. as you get older that number drops. a 60 year old is only gonna be able to get it to 150.

so my point is take advantage of that when you are young and be active.

when i was running half marathons and 5K's I was 133 pounds with 6% bf. now as a weightlifter I am 182 with 14% bf. so to say that cardio doesn't burn fat is false. it is very catabolic. however not the body I am seeking at this time of my life. i much prefer the mass look vs. the runners look.

i would say combining diet and cardio together is a lethal tool to lose weight. but you gotta put in the LSD.... long, slow, distance. keep your HR at 60%-70% for 1 hour straight. if you can do 1 hour of jogging/fast walking 3X per week you will be golden. not the eliptical.

This is a great point!! But no one on here said that cardio will not burn fat, we said it's not as important as diet and weightlifting. You can still get to your weightloss goal without cardio but you cant do it without proper diet. I perfer to do a fast walk on and incline because of my knee soon i will be jogging. I see some people get great results on the elipitical machine but i guess some dont like it. Whatever works for that person do it!!! I found out that I.F. diet is best for me and i always liked to lift heavy.

when he says "needto gear" he is talking about this product right here GEAR
And yes it can really help prevent a catabolic effect from taking place when dieting... Among many other uses for the product.

Good job my friend and keep up the good work.. Hope you reach that goal of yours my friend.

cardio for me is always outside . in winter its fast walking but in summer its cycling . its so important to find a form of cardio you like/love . all ways remember cardio can be for fat/weight loss or conditioning its diet that flicks the switch either way .

IF combined with one major re-feed day (typically the 24hrs after doing a super-heavy lift workout, like squat day) has produced the best results for me... Better than any other routine of eating or lifting. In the last 3 months alone I've dropped close to 5% BF and only lost about 5lbs on the scale, which means I've put on a bit of lean tissue as well. Considering I was stuck in the rut of "bulk and cut" cycling where I MIGHT have traded 3-4% bf for muscle in a 6 month period of excellent diet and commitment... Well, frankly, IF changed both my outlook on training and my body type completely - it was the best decision I've made in terms of achieving the physique I've been aiming for.

Thanks NEEDTO and Gear is a great product to help me get my protein in and help with my lifts in the evenings. Xtend aminos is also amazing at helping me though my weighlifting. everything that im doing now will be slow and steady, that's why i love primo!!! I dont need to blow up or get strong as hell in the gym. Im a average joe that want to build a little muscle to look good in my clothes, im just being honest. I know someone will say you could do this without help but i choose to use the help. i only have 20lbs to lose but i dont care if it takes until december because i have all the time in the world, im not competing.

PowerChews.com : Home

get there chewable bcaa's bro ^^^ bad ass and they taste great to. They got a really damn good product right there. You can also pick up some of there glutamine and use this post work out too. You have loved my advice so far so trust me man.. Its a great add to what you are using.:heart:

o and use discount code Needto10 for a 10% discount code

The last thing you'd want to do is switch up Xtend for power chews. If your still on IF and taking your BCAAs before fasted training, why would you switch to power chews and its 17g of carbs? Plus, why waste money on additional glutamine when Xtend already has it?
