I started training with IFBB pro Mike Francois today!!!

I'd get the glutamine from kilosports.com 39.95 for a kilo of glutamine PEPTIDES rather than just l-glutamine, which is inferior.

Please forgive my retartedness. I was thinking there was 10,000mg in a gram, not 1,000. That's why I was wondering if I could get it more concentrated. Your response made me realize that I was an idiot and I can't do math. Being out of college really makes me think that I need to go back!!!

Hey Surgical I train at your gym too. Yeah mike is the most down to earth guy you could ever meet, and I think anyone else that went through what he did would have thrown in the towell a long time ago on training. Well good luck on the training, you're in for some ass kickin' workouts
 
This was our back routine:

T-bar rows with barbell and 25 pound plates-
-we would alternate left hand on top, then right hand on top.
each position we did for 6 reps. we changed grips 6 times, so
it was a total of about 36 reps per set, stripping the weight
after changing the grip 2 times.

machine shrugs (Mike says to train traps with back)- 3 sets of 12 reps, as heavy as you can go.

isolateral pulldown (reverse grip)- first 2 sets were 12 reps, the last set was done isolaterally (12 reps on right, 12reps on left, then 12 reps together with left and right).

hyperextensions- 15 reps with 25 pounds plate for 3 sets.

machine rows- 3 sets of 12 reps.

standing calf raises- 3 sets of 15 reps (the whole stack). immediately after each set sit on your heels and do another 30 reps of calf raises very quickly, great burn!!!

Mike asked if he could work in for a "little set". He did 500lbs. for 2 sets at 100 reps each!!!. His calves are freakin' huge!
 
I've read several places that free amino acids will not be taken up by the body as good as peptides. The body needs to break down the peptides itself to make any use of the amino acids...
