Anyone know this part of Scottsdale? I could have sworn there was a PF Changs South of Bell rd on Scottsdale Rd. WFT? I wanted awesome Chinese food as my last supper. :D
Been there... I ran a marathon that PF Chang's sponsored. Map quest it!

Did someone say shopping?

rain on my parade, why don't you? lolol

It looks like you won't have to worry about it, because I was wrong. All I can find is a Carrabba's Italian restaurant across the street. Probably not a great alternative, so we're going to the grocery store soon to get me set with healty snacks for the weekend. Boring, but wise. I've got to watch what I'm eating, anyway. No working out for 2 weeks. That sounds like forever...

The first two weeks you won't want to work out. And ease back into it doign only things that don't hurt your torso area. Cardio is ok but mostly u have to watch the trunk twisting stuff & the whole don't lift your hands above your shoulders thing for a while. You just won't want to anyway.

Diet-wise - the first 2-3 days you just really don't want to eat anyway. Go w/ simple stuff that won't upset your stomach. Drink lots of water, etc. I'm sure they will give you pain killers & muscle relaxers the first few days - I was off the vicadins by day 4 & stuck w/ Tylenol. Then a week later I went thru a little mini-depression of sorts as the vics detoxed out. You are also water retentive for a little while after the edema & the anesthesia clear out. Its mostly just sort of annoying.

So just plan accordingly - its a recovery process that will seem like nothing & well worth it in 6 months. Even 3 months. Shit after 4 weeks I was out all weekend dancing & partying like an idiot w/ no bra & showing everyone :)

that's my girl. :D

They prescribed darvoset. oi. Those are the good ones.

LOL - I had Vicodin ES after mine. :insane:

So let me see if I understand what they're doing .... are they going to do the 1/2 under, 1/2 above thing? I want to check into that. It's about time for my "maintenence" surgery.

I've heard Carrabba's is freakin' AWESOME!!!!! lol

no. there's a paper thin film covering your muscles. If you've ever cooked pork or beef ribs, you have to peel a film off the back of them before you cook them. Gross analogy, I know - but I don't know how else to explain it.

He places the implant between that film and the muscle. It's a relatively new procedure. Dr. Borsand says he's done about 25 of them, and they've turned out very well. There is a risk of that film thickening and making the implants feel hard, but he says so far, it hasn't happened with his patients.

Bahamas. mmmmmm. Beach, sun, drinks with umbrellas...

Jeff is taking me to Jamaica this year! November. I'm uber excited.

Scorp ... $.02 I have heard of procedures using the 1/2 & 1/2 method as well being successful. Can you post any good findings on it as well?
