Breast Enhancement in Detail - Short1's Surgery on Friday, August 11.

Sounds good so far :)

If you're going in tomorrow I assume they've told you to stay off anything that will thin your blood, most supps and all that stuff right?

I had my surgery early in the morning. I took the anti-nausea pills and all that. They cover you up in Betadine and then put you under w/ the anesthesia.

Unders heal a lot slower than overs and I agree if you are small already - think about it - the only thing holding in 480 ccs of liquid is your skin. To me that sounds disgusting. Unders suck because you have to let the muscles & implant get used to each other, settle in and then deal w/ the scar tissue. But of all of it, I never once worried about the incision - mine were like a half circle under the nipple - as of about 2 yrs ago, you'd never know. It was barely visible after the surgery but absolutely healed & gone now. The worst part is from when you wake up to about a day later. You literally feel like there's an elephant sitting on your chest. But beyond that, its mostly just irritating and the random flashes of pain from the nerves healing.

For the first two weeks, set up all the stuff you use on a daily basis to be below shoulder level, or better just at counter level. DON'T REACH UP for anything. Get someone else to do it, or plan ahead. Find a comfortable place to sleep the first couple days - wherever you choose, plan on it being the most painful thing in the world to have to sit up or sit down once you are there. You will want to sleep where you are sittng. I chose to stay in a recliner chair for 2 days - the couch hurt too much to sit up & rotate around. Same w/ the bed. And also proximity to the bathroom.

After a day or two, I'd also arrange to get a really good lower back massage because staying in the prone position will start to take its toll on your lower back - but it will have to be a seated massage as you won't be able to lay down flat. Probably the hardest part I had was learning to sleep on my back as I was a side & stomach sleeper for years. After about 3 months I was able to sleep on my side. Eventually the last thing that is annoying is driving - where the seatbelt hits you across the chest and having to turn around to look left / right or to back up. Very fucking hard.

Otherwise, rock on girl!

I was honest with the doc about my suppliments. I stopped taking everything yesterday - including vitamin c. I've been taking 1iu a day of HGH for about 3 months now - Dr. Borsand told me to stay off it for the weekend only, but to start back up with it on Monday. He said it would help with the healing process and possibly minimize scaring. (Apparently, he's pro HGH, because he was pleased to find that I was taking it. He said he recommends 1-2ius a day for women, and 2-3 for men...)

Yes - I'm trying to get all the details down for you. It's a little harder than I anticipated because of the short time frame. I hardly have time to mull things over, myself. :D

I did go through my bra drawer and empty it last night, though. lolol. I get to go shopping again!

Anyone know this part of Scottsdale? I could have sworn there was a PF Changs South of Bell rd on Scottsdale Rd. WFT? I wanted awesome Chinese food as my last supper. :D

Personally I'd watch the sodium .... You'll be bloated enough from the anesthesia and edema. Just a thought...

rain on my parade, why don't you? lolol

It looks like you won't have to worry about it, because I was wrong. All I can find is a Carrabba's Italian restaurant across the street. Probably not a great alternative, so we're going to the grocery store soon to get me set with healty snacks for the weekend. Boring, but wise. I've got to watch what I'm eating, anyway. No working out for 2 weeks. That sounds like forever...
