Beer and trainning

Alright, i'm not looking for a lecture about how alcohol doesn't help one's trainning. But i am curiouse to why after a night of drinking (not completly wasted but pleasently buzzed) the next day i feel week and look smaller. I know that alcohole is a diuretic but when i drink i also consume a lot of water. Is there something one could do to avoid alchole's diuretic properties besides not drinking it?
Thanks

Unfortunately, there isn't really any way to avoid what alcohol does to your system once you've drank although you can hedge against its effects by drnking a lot of water.

The reason you feel weaker is probably due to water retention or lack thereof. If you'll notice, while you may look slighty smaller in the morning after a night of partying, you probably also look more defined and cut. You're simply dehydrated. I know this is the case with me...I always look leaner after the morning after but it's just lack of water in my system. Also, a lot of it's mental...you may feel like you've slacked on you diet so you feel like you should be weaker since you've engaged in "non-bodybuilding conducive activities," LOL!

I always make sure to eat some clean food before I go to bed and most importantly make sure you drink tons of water and take an extra multi-vitamin. I've also heard extra vitamin C helps.

6 to 12 oz of red wine a day is healty and good for bodybuilders...... not any more than that though..... sorry

I think four to eight ounces, or 1 or two small wine glasses is a little closer to the healthy range on red wine

I used to go out drinking with friends and there was this guy that swore by drinking his water before, during and after drinking alchohol.
He was never hung over and was even able to get up early the next day and run.
The water must help your body not only keeping it hydrated, but also to process the alchohol cleaner.
