When to take protein?

I take whey by the way, it has 23g of protein.

?#1 - Should I take more than 1 serving of it?
?#2 - When should I take it? before and after w/o and running, once in the morning once at night, after all workouts and runs, or like after all workouts and runs.

I weight 155lb, 6'0", about 9-11%bf.

W/o routine:( 3 times a week)
push-ups 2x35
leg lifts 2x25
bar curls 4x15 (51lb)
closed grip bar lifts 2x15 (51lb)
jump rope 500
hand gripper 2x50
squats 2x15 (51lb)
workout routine 3 times per week
ab roller 4x30

run 12 miles per week
 
read read read!! You're acting like protein is a supplement. You asked if you take it once, or more than once. Did you mean along with your diet which also includes protein? Read a bunch of post about dieting, they'll help!
 
Id say a double serving after your workout..... then another single serving later. Its really a supplement though, whenever you can't get real food is best.
