Sublingual vitamin B-12........link

I heard a radio add on this stuff and it seems very interesting. And a lot more convienent than taking shots. What do you guys think?

This is like the big Coral Calcium hype a few years ago. I started taking that, and still do to this day. I don't use any dairy in my diet and thought it would be a good idea to get supplemental calcium. As for the sublingual B-12, if you want to try it, go to Vitamin World, and pay less than 7 bucks for one bottle plus get another one free. I am on it right now, and I love it. I had recently quit taking ephedrine (which I was extremely addicted to) and it has made the transition a lot easier. I have never tried B-12 injections, but sublingual B-12 seems to be doing all the same stuff to me that people associate with the injectable variety. (increased energy/appetite/more sound sleep) I do take approx. 3000 mcg/day though.

According to my link that version of b-12 is in a patented sub-lingual formula which has the same effect of b-12 on the bloodstream as do injections.

After checking vitamin world and swanson vitamins, I found that a few different companies offer a sub-lingual version of b-12. I just wondered if the other companies versions are different / less effective than the patented doctor's version?

Quick question... does loading up on b12 cause other vitamin deficiencies?

I've heard megadosing b5 isn't good to do for this reason.

I don't think the "doctors patented version" is any more effective than any other form of sublingual b-12. It's just another huckster tryin' to get rich off of normal hardworking people like you, and me. I've seen the infomercial on this stuff, and it's the same damn idiot that does all of them. He's the guy that came up with the Mega Memory program. I think his name is Kevin Trudeau. He's a smart guy, who's made a hell of a lot of money off stuff like this. I would just try the Vitamin world stuff that I'm using. I like it a lot.

Oral intake of Vitamin B-12 is considered non-toxic, at any level of oral intake. I have heard of some individuals injecting up to 5000 mcg/day of B-12. I personally take 2000 mcg./day of the sublingual version, and have yet to suffer any ill effects.

I just bought some Nature's Bounty B-12 Sublingual Liquid W/1,200mcg of B-12 in it.

How does this compare to a B-12 shot?

Comparable?

What's a good dose for maximum results

A body will only accept a certain amount of b-12. (Sorry not sure how much that is) However by injecting you can increase that amount.

I however have used both. I did find the injections worked better for me. I would mix it into my AS shot. This made The AS hurt less. This is huge with stuff like prop :)
