yep..

i have close friend on 5g sustanon per week.
he's average built and has been training for 6 years.

another dude just started training a year ago and has done 2 cycles of 400mg primo/400mg deca and is 220 pounds of lean muscle.

you hear of these dudes get bashed about their heavy cycles..
but in all honesty, some cant grow on less than 1g per week.

When you say average, what exactly is that?

I'd say 5'9 170 @20-25bf%
You probably mean average as far a bbers, right?

average built means a dude that doesnt look like a bodybuilder, but like one who trains on occasion and stays in shape.

I know what you mean, I see folks like that a lot. Its hard knowing which are slackers and which to feel bad for.

I guess I fall into that category.

When I graduated from high school, I was 6', 128 lbs.

It's taken lots of work for me to just look average. Or slightly above.

How bout that Satch? We actually agree on someting! lol

There is definately a genetic wall we all have. Having said that, I believe that 99.9999%+ of the population doesn't have the discipline to train, eat and sleep all the way up to that point.

My theory is that it's like beating wrinkles out of a rug though. Once you've made the most out of your training, diet and sleep -- then consider AAS. As you do a mild cycle, revisit your training, diet and sleep. That's my plan going forward :)

Taking AAS is really a trivially simple thing to do -- taking AAS in the minimum doses possible to get good gains and dodge as many sides as possible is the real "art" IMO. Hell, we should have board contests on "who can get the most gain from the mildest cycle"!

Not a bad idea with the mild cycle thing!

Definetely satch!!! SOme people just have shitty genetics(small and not toned, cant grow), some people have good genetics for gettting big, som epeople have good genetics for staying cut, and a selct few can eat whatever the fuck they want, lift with moderate intensity, get big, and stay cut 24/7/365

I think your right that if you are ultra skinny and unmuscular, undefined and respond badly to training you will never look like a BB.

But I would not say that good diet and training would be 'wasted' as you can still improve your appearence and ability in relation to your own standards.

To be an elite BB though I'd expect you need to have/take everything to the extreme... diet, training, genetics AND AAS abuse.

From everything from protein intake to AAS we have been told, more is not better, and those who take more... get better.
