i am just wondering if there is such a thing as too much cardio. i know that if you do intense cardio for more than a half hour you lose muscle. but is doing cardio daily bad? sometimese people say they are trying to get cut, so they do cardio two or three times a week for half an hour. basically i am wondering if doing cardio every day will get you cut faster than doing cardio a few times a week. also, is there a difference between high rep/low weight vs. high weigh/low rep weightlifting for getting cut.

I wouldn't do cardio every day of the week because you need to give your body atleast one day each week to recover and recooperate. I would suggest only doing cardio 5 days each week.

No. Lower weights/high reps is a myth, for the most part anyway. When cutting, you adjust your diet and amount of cardio. Lift as you normally would.

Training light while cutting will lead to further muscle loss, that's a tough lesson it took me more than once to learn. When cutting I still train as heavy as I can but cut the rest periods between sets as low as I can to keep my heart rate up.
