heres whats going on today:

6am- chicken breast
9am- protein shake
12pm- chicken breast
2pm- protein shake
5pm- chicken breast
6pm- gym
8pm- ribeye steak
protein shake
1 cup 2% milk

Heres what it boils down to cal/protein/fat/carbs: 2157/359/66/24

I know I need to throw in the oats in the morning. That will be in the plan tomorrow

too many shakes. limit it to pre & post and perhaps a casein b4 bed.

have oatmeal in the morning and make sure to have some pre & post workout carbs. the rest of the day u could do without. make sure u get lots of fiber and try to eat some veggies (this really wont impact your carbs).
 
I was going to try this for a week or two. I'll throw in oatmeal, and raw veggies throughout the day. How do the overall numbers look? Not enough calories?

agree 8 is the man on this stuff, but from what i have read here, and in the book read i wont mention again i promise! i just dont see why that diet is even neessary, i seems carb cycleing will achieve lower bf easier and not run the risks of eating away at muscle. 8? dont bash me too hard
 
cals are way too low for ya! u r a beast!!!

i am only 6'2" 220ish and i use in the neighborhood of 3000.

i say start with about 3500 and we can go up or down from there. add some all natural pb 2 your diet to help up the cals. also switch one of those chicken breasts to red meat. i would still shoot for 100-150 grams of carbs and adjust up or down from there.
 
bro, if you want to go keto then I would make a commitment and do it. I don't think you need the oats in the morning if you goal is to due a true keto diet. Also you will need more fats to make up for the lack of carbs. If you can afford it i would switch some of the chicken breast to salmon. Or supplement wit fish & flax seed oil. Remember if when you go that low you need to count your carbs in everything from shakes, drinks, egg whites, etc...

Personally I never went keto as I would always have some spinach, brocolli, something like that with most of my meals.

Also getting a good glutamine and BCAA source will help keep some muscle on when you drop your cals that low.
