Hey all. I make shakes around 3-4 pm and want to keep it around 350 cals max. I already use 2 scoops pwder (GNC Pro Performance Strawberry) . However, it always comes out really liquidly, and i wanted it to be more of a 'smoothie' texture. What can i add to it to make it so?

Also, im almost out of this flavor, and it was OK. Any recs out there? I heard ON was the best price and taste wise, agree?

nm, i just did 2 scoops powder, 1/2 cup cottage cheese, 15 ice cubes, and a dash of equal/cinammon and it came out great.

Next ?, what is the best tasting powder out there that is reasonably affordable. I just finished the strawberry and would like to avoid it from now on.

optimum nutrition 100% whey. chocolate, chocolate mint is also pretty decent but i got sick of the mint by the end of it

I love Optimum Nutrition Double Rich Chocolate.....good chocolate-y taste...

I use ice & some skim milk & water when blending....

also for a cappucino type flavor freeze leftover strong coffee in ice cube trays & use a few cubes when blending

Try Ice:

Ice:
Suggested Serving: 3-5 cubes (50g)
Fat: 0g
Carbs: 0g
Protein: 0g
Cals: 0g

:D

But on a more serious note, I've discovered that ice from the freezer doesn't work too well. Bagged ice (from supermarket or convenience store) works best and crushes easiest.
