Diet looks pretty good chazk.
Definetly more variety than mine.
Mines turkey and oats all day.
Whole food actually makes me fart way more than shakes do.
My stomack hates whole food but I still manage to stuff it down.
Ginger root helps with the gas and protein digestion.

thanks mac took me awhile to get the diet part intune with the protien,carbs and fat ratios and then shopping every 2-3 days for freash fruits and veggies to cooking on the grill large quanities of food,then preparing meals and keeping a plug in cooler in my truck to travel with the food through out the day as well as using disposable plates and silverware and cups..its gets to be kinda pricey so thanks for reconizing the work involved...

but your right in the aspect that you have to do what works best for you my diet wont work for everyone becuase everyone is different...I'm glad you can handle the shakes and they work for you for muscle building. only thing you might wanna try is variety you know the old saying variety is the spice of life it def keeps you from getting bored when you have so many diff things to choose from keeps things interesting .

Also the food digestion problem I used digestive enyzms with every meal they help me alot no gas if any at all.But when I'm bulking I'll try adding ginger to the equation to help settle a upset stomach .thanks for the tip.

I got used to eating just about the same thing everyday w/ out variety so I'm used to it now.
I said I like the shakes but I don't rely on them. I do agree that whole food is the best way to go and most of ones intake should be whole food, but I think that shakes do have their place in the diet regimen.
I just like to get a feel for what other people are eating and see if I can get any new ideas.
 
damn all this talk about food is making me hungry :radar:


nothing beats real food. some people disagree on this and other's can't digest it but half to a full gallon of milk a day can really do wonders. and meat tastes great :)

managers special. i can get a gallon of milk for .99 and a top round sirloin for $3!! pretty much have to eat it within a few days but hey, meat doesn't last in my fridge anyways
 
i drink 2 shakes per day (probably 150 g's total) for about 6 mos per yr. . .the other 6 mos i drop the shake protien back to around 100 g's. . .i also eat a significant amount of meat each day. . .i try to keep my protien intake at around 250 to 300 ed. . .

What digestive enzymes do you take? I find if I really crank up my meat or protein shake intake, I get some pretty serious gas after a certain point. Any brand type or recommended place to purchase them? I had read that ginger might work also although not sure what amount is needed.

I cant even rember the price I just buy so much stuff when i'm at the health food store and I just pick it up and throw it in the basket becuase it works so well I really dont even consider doing with out it..

btw it does contian ginger i didnt even relize that i'm all ready using it wow.

I also use renew lifes " ultimate flora"
it contians over 10 types of lacto ,bifado cultures 50 billion it says and its the most potent ones I have ever used

take the digest more with meals first thing use the ultimate flora when you first wake up.

I dont have any gas at all when i take them regulary but if i'm out traveling or forget to take um then then you better run for cover!

I am sure you can use other companies brands i dont wanna sound like i'm promoting anything for anyone becuase I i know you can prob buy something close to it at your local health food store just as good..

just ask for the most potent acidophilis culter combo they have and the best digestive enzyms and i'm sure youll be good to go...
btw the acidophilus needs to be refridgerated to keep the culters alive and from dying so make sure the health food store has them in a fridge if they are on the store shelf or left in the heat they are dead and usless .so buy um cold they should be good for a few days outsode the fridge tops so be sure to refridgerate when you get home just like buying milk from a store or something perishable...
