Can you build muscle in the absense of carbs?

Well I must have some gluconeogenesis going on then.

I've been on Oral Turanabol for two weeks now as part of a cutter cycle.

I haven't topped 1200 cals per day for the whole 14 days, I am having about 180 g protein each day via shakes, tuna, chicken and I have been in ketosis throughout (Used the piss sticks to confirm).

I've been doing 1 hour of cardio Mon, Weds, Fri and weights Tues, Thurs.

Sat Sun off.

I've gained 2lbs and my fat % is visibly going down.

Oral Turanabol is a type of steroid right?

Yes, its a new (well not new just a resurrected one from the 60's)

It's like Dbol but it doesn't aromatise.

Overall caloric intake will determine weight gain or loss, true. Weight doesn't necessarily mean muscle though. Still, I'm sure it's possible to build muscle without carbs consistently. I don't know about that analogy. Your body isn't just going to waste away the protein entirely if you don't have carbs. The proteins are still utilized.

It sounds cool in essence, but it just doesn't make much sense. Funny as hell, though.

I don't know about a CKD being the most anabolic diet out there. Even if it was, the benefits of using a CKD over any generic bulking diet aren't going to tip the scales so much that you'd want to be on such a strict, boring diet as a CKD. What would you have? A few extra pounds for all that grief? Nah. That doesn't do it for me.

Actually excess protein CAN also turn into fat! :worried:

lol, excess ANYTHING can add fat. If my maintenence calories are 1300, and I eat 1600 in brocolli, I will gain weight.

And I don't think the excess protein will "turn into fat", I doubt anything can magically "turn into fat". Kinda like when people say, "I stopped working out and all my muscle turned into fat" or "I want to turn my fat into muscle". Doesn't happen that way.
