Can you build muscle in the absense of carbs?

A CKD is the most anabolic diet you can use for bulking. However low carb diet without a carb u? Tts possible to build muscle on this, but is a bit harder than a balanced diet would be, and you need ALOT of calories to make decent gains on it.

CKD diet? Can someone explain what that is?

Cyclic Ketogenic Diet... Cycling your carbs, more or less... Driving your body into ketosis then knocking it out with a carb-up day and driving it back by dropping your carbs again... It's supposed to keep your metabolism in check. I find it works best for sanity issues as well. Trying to go low-carb too many days in a row will make you want to go to sleep and never wake up. Not to mention it's a lot easier to fall off the wagon HARD CORE if you drop your carbs for too many days.

P.S. ABSENCE

There are populations of Inuit and Siberian hunters who live much of the year on nothing but reindeer, seal or polar bear meat. They gain muscle just like everyone else. It's not really a question of whether or not you CAN gain muscle without carbs. It's more a question of WHY???

BTW the Inuits also manage to gain fat on this diet of theirs, although the men tend to be slightly less fat than their southern cousins. The women are just as fat as anywhere else that follows a traditional hunter lifestyle. So I can't really see any significant benefits to avoiding carbs.

Well I must have some gluconeogenesis going on then.

I've been on Oral Turanabol for two weeks now as part of a cutter cycle.

I haven't topped 1200 cals per day for the whole 14 days, I am having about 180 g protein each day via shakes, tuna, chicken and I have been in ketosis throughout (Used the piss sticks to confirm).

I've been doing 1 hour of cardio Mon, Weds, Fri and weights Tues, Thurs.

Sat Sun off.

I've gained 2lbs and my fat % is visibly going down.

It's (in 99%) the overall calories intake that lead to weigth gain or weigth loss

Not the amount of carbs
