Definitely be careful w/ the trunk twisting -- that's sort of where the pockets they created in your chest are where the implants are trying to settle. Stuff like turning to look behind to back the car up hurt like a bitch.

Just a thought on bra sizes - I can easily be a 34 but I'm built so wide that depending on the bra, a 36 has a wider seperation between the cups - if its too close and its an underwire, it digs into the sides of the girls. Just a thought when you are sizing. Othewise its just cool when you get the new bras! Like, they finally fit and it doesn't have to be 3 inches of padding!

I think you shoudl be able to have the stitches out within the week...?

Mine are the same... I tend to fit better in a 34D than a 36C but lately I just don't even bother with a bra. I cant stand to wear one so for work and when i am around the house I mostly wear a tight sports bra.

morning, everyone. I have more pics for you, then I'll give you the run down on how yesterday went.

Please keep in mind when you see these that I am a little swelled up. Not too bad - but some. These babies will go down eventually...

when the swelling goes down they dont look like playboy boobs..lol i think i went from a 34D to a full C when totally healed. I agree w/Sassy to wait on hardcore chest trainnig for at least 4-5 wks. you want them healed up so they dont move out of the pocket.

LOL @ playboy boobs. good descrition. At my consultation yesterday, Dr. Borsand said they'd "settle" in about 4-5 weeks. Not much swelling though. He was happy. I read a post of yours a while back that made me laugh - you'd posted in regard to the post op pain that you'd had hangovers that were worse. lolol. I thought about that the day after surgery. You're not very far off that mark.



Besides a few shooting pains, they feel pretty good today. I've been instructed to massage them every day for a month (I handed that job over to jeff ), and I'm supposed to practice "nipple placement". lolol. Every day, I have to squeeze them and lift the skin (and nipples) up. I guess this keeps them from pointing downward when they finally "settle".

the doc also told me that since I'm in such good shape to begin with (yeah!), my recovery would be cake. He said that on the weekend, I can get on the stair stepper or treadmill (walking only). By Wed. of next week, I can start to lift LIGHTLY. No bouncing around for 2 weeks, though. Keep those babies trussed up with a sports bra should I decide to exercise.

On Saturday, I can peel off the tape - the stitches will have dissolved by then.

I'm okey dokey today. I've been "resting" for the past 2 days because no one will let me do anything. I've been told I have to "rest" until Monday.

It's kind of sweet to see Jeff put his foot down. lolol I've decided I'll let him tell me what to do.


The soreness is pretty much gone now. I'm feeling some muscle soreness in my pecs now - meaning that the overall soreness is gone and I can actually tell what's hurting now. My pecs feel like they would the day after a good workout. Not a bad feeling at all.

I have a shooting pain in my right breast and the nipple on that side is sensitive. Not "good" sensitive. It's an OW kind of sensitive. the only thing that stops the pain is if I lie down flat on my back. All pain goes away. lolol Picture me doing stuff around the house and suddenly throwing myself down on the couch for a few. that's what I've been doing all day.

Since I'm only aloud to "rest", I've been cooking. I cooked turkey breasts this morning, and now I'm on to lean pork chops and cabbage. I'd be baking cookies if I had the stuff to make them. mmmmm. Cookies.

I measured myself this morning (weight, BF, etc.) :

36 x 28 x 36 (woohoo!)
weight = 145.5
BF (w/digital calipers) = approx 13%
unfortunately, I'm still the same height. Getting new boobs does not make you taller, apparently. Just wider.

Yes, probably the one thing you will want to do is have the girls strapped up good for any sort of cardio. Its a wild feeling. Makes you feel like you need to have your hands on them while you run. That's where you notice there's "something" on your chest...
