i made three apple pies over the weekend...one for my mom & dad, one for a good friend, and one for my me & my boyfriend.

total for 3 pies: 30 apples, 3 cups of sugar, 7 cups of flour and 5 sticks of butter.

not the best for my attempt at a clean bulking diet, but they turned out soooo very good. :p

gotta love the fall season....
 
Apple Pie's are yummy, unfortunately, they are USELESS in a bodybuilders diet. I'm glad you enjoyed making those pies. Thanksgiving is a month away, maybe you should make me one :p
 
i have a new found appreciation for homemade apple pie - coring & peeling 30 apples is NOT fun.

i know they are useless in my diet, but i couldn't let fall slip away without having some apple pie...
 
Hey why can't you make apple crisp....with healthier ingredients and it wouldn't be that bad for you once in awhile....whole oats, splenda, butter, whole wheat flour
 
My mom made an apple pie 2 weeks ago while I was home visiting. It was so good. Good crust is key to pie. Apple isn't my favorite... I will waste more fat/calories/carbs on strawberry-rhubarb pie or sour cherry pie.
