what do u guys prefer?
i do cardio FTITM and wait an hour to eat after..
would it be better to have a meal rather than a shake? if so...what kinda carbs would you have...any suggestions besides for oats?
The purpose of a post-workout shake is to hasten absorption of nutrients. If you wait an hour to eat, you obviously didn't want to hasten the absorption of nutrients. Besides, your window of opportunity is gone.
I think the window of opportunity is quite long. I never took the time to look at the research myself, but I have heard from others that it is up to 2 hours.
the "window of opportunity" is just like the "protein intake limit" : every body is talking about it, there are a fex 100s different oppinions but there is no serious study on it
So if you have any good info on it (I mean the window of opportunity), please tell us more
