Cause I suck and need some help.

Everytime I hit the ball it goes over to the right. Sometimes it looks like its going straight then that bastard hooks off

I hit like 3 that went straight out of a bucket at the driving range.

It's all in your form when you swing the club. You need to keep your wrists and arms locked and keep your head down at the ground.

don't raise your head or unstiffen your arms till atleast acouple seconds after you hit the ball.

I play but I'm not an expert, I just play occasionaly.

the classic slice......golf takes alot of pratice....some say game isnt meant to learned in a Life time.........just play alot more u will enventually start to improve...then maybe some personal lessions

No, but this reminds me of a funny story. My friend and I went out a few weeks ago and we got out of the car to valet park. He walked up to this guy who was wearing a golf shirt and said, "Are you the valet parker." The guy got all pissed off and made a big scene. I tried to explain to him that his shirt looked like that of a valet parker. He didn't take it very well. Pansy.

Invest in a handful of lessons and then make sure that you play as much as possible, so you don't go back to making the same mistakes.:)

If you can video your lessons so that you can go back and watch them.:)

Try closing the club face a little and swing your club like a pendulum (straight back and straight through to the finish. Also finish your swing high (follow through) and don't quit just because the ball left the tee. A lot of problems with ball flight can be corrected just by finishing your swing.

If your follow through swing finishes inside (which means you are coming across the ball, a slice will follow.) Try keeping your right elbow tucked behind the ball before contact. Weight shift and club head speed and timing creates power.

Take a few lessons and practice, practice, practice. I've been playing for 36 years and only had 2 lessons. Right now, I am playing with a 5 handicap.

Good luck! :)

the easiest fix is to imagine a clock laying on the ground around the ball (with 12 o'clock directly behind the ball). You want to pull the club back low and slow halfway between 1 and 2. At the top focus on swinging inside out not outside in.

none of this will help...lol there are a million things that can cause a slice.
