Approved Log Recovery War - Diet Training Life Log

Got up a bit earlier today as I plan on a small trip tomorrow morning where I’ll need to get up at 3am, is easier for me if I get up at that time one day earlier as well, then isn’t as bad on the day I really have to do it.

Have done some more research on how low hematocrit causes abnormally high blood glucose readings.

My hematocrit isn’t just low is falling through the damn floor, I have anaemia again from daily blood loss 🤬. With hematocrit as low as mine, there will be an error rate of 12% minimum.
With that new information I re-calculated my highest consistent reading which is my fasted morning test. It tests at 5.6 but hematocrit is as low as 12-16%.

5.6 -
12%
= 4.9

So, I don’t even have drug induced diabetes, which is exactly what I expected as soon as I learned that hematocrit being low causes abnormally high readings. It just took my until this morning to have enough time to find a study that demonstrated an error rate I could use. Was this one.

I will continue to monitor my blood sugar while on MK677, especially since is so early in the cycle. Also having reduced hematocrit, does in fact impair glucose tolerance, I can’t fix it without surgery so lowering carbs is still going to be a good idea despite this new information. Is good to know I could continue to drink those smoothies I rely on most likely if I need to on cycle though.

This also means that I didn’t in fact have drug induced diabetes from the CJC1295/GHRP6 as I previously thought, when corrected for margin of error that one comes out at 5.3, high because was even more anaemic then but still under pre-diabetes.

Moral of the story is low hematocrit will make you look like a diabetic or pre-diabetic when you really aren’t, add a growth hormone secretagogue in the mix without knowing this and it looks bad when it isn’t.

Thanks guys. Is a lot of work to manage all the health problems I have but at the end of the day they only slow me down, they don’t actually stop me completely yet.

I’m kind of in a scenario where I’ve tried a PED cycle very similar to the one I’m on twice now, but I never had everything dialled in properly to get the maximum possible benefits from it. Some of my health issues, particularly the anaemia made it so hard to sort out I don’t think I had a hope of getting here without that blood glucose monitor that shows the hematocrit value.

The medical system down here is corrupt third world rubbish. I’ve been stuck with this blood loss problem for YEARS. Was obvious from the first time it caused me to need an iron infusion and phosphate that I NEED surgery. But I was denied it until recently. Same with the surgery to shorten my bowel. I was supposed to get that like TEN YEARS ago now, as an emergency surgery no less.

Anyway, I’m not even being monitored, am just expected to manage it somehow without even the slightest bit of advice, like “hey you are going to have severely reduced carb tolerance from the blood loss” would be easy to give but isn’t what happens. Not even “hey make an appointment by such and such a date to get a blood test and see if you need another infusion by then”, nope, I am expected to wait until I’m basically needing the emergency department at a hospital just to be given a blood test that always shows I’m f*#cked and needed the infusion weeks before I’ve been given the test, usually by then I can barely breathe or drive my car to the clinic.

And this is just the blood loss, not even the biggest problem I have health wise, not by far.

And I train like this, every week at least a bit. Not even enough oxygen in my blood, can’t breathe properly from it (really low blood iron causes dyspnea), go too hard and get an autoimmune flare to top it all off, but I don’t stop.

I spent the whole day catching up with basic stuff like shopping, making new recipes for this cycle and researching early this morning about my blood sugar.

I need to try and get to bed within the next hour to get up at 3am tomorrow. Haven’t trained today at all. Day just got away from me with all the chores that needed catching up on.

Have made three new recipes that should help lower my carbs for a while. I tried to make a protein mousse but I didn’t realise pasteurised egg whites don’t stiffen when you beat them, so I altered the recipe to make it into a pudding using gelatine. One serve has about 50g protein, 1g fat and 3g carbs. I also made a jelly out of collagen and BCAAs, one serving has about 19g protein, no fat and half a gram of carbs so basically none. Lastly I made a mix of chicken mince, beef mince and egg, one serve has about 40g protein, 32g fats and 2.3G carbs.

Those should help a bit and will be good for cutting. Mostly cost will be the issue sustaining it. With my trip on Sunday tomorrow, next training day is likely Monday. I’m still sore from Thursday 🙃.

Step counter isn’t accurate is just what my phone recorded carrying it, I almost never walk around with it.
