I’ve added two supplements, Berberine and Cinnamon oil, to help manage blood sugar.
Going to reduce carbs further. To do that while still eating enough protein I need to try an experiment with pasteurised egg whites and whey protein isolate, also another one with hydrolysed collagen peptides, gelatine and bcaas. If those two recipes work then I’ll eat those one day, and the next day I’ll try and eat 1kg beef mince, 500g chicken mince and five eggs, divided into 5 meals, maybe even six smaller ones throughout the day. Then just alternate between a meat day and a day where I eat egg white/whey isolate pudding and zero carb collagen jelly.
Also going to increase iron supplementation to try and increase my hematocrit which hopefully will help bring the blood sugar readings down a little bit, low hematocrit causes abnormally high blood sugar readings.
I’m hoping to try a food experiment today as soon as supermarkets open, hopefully it works and I’ll have this fixed in a day or two.
I got some ideas from trying those low carb NoWay collagen puddings and jelly earlier in the week. Going to make diy versions of those to replace liquid meals. Is really hard to do liquid nutrients how I was doing and also make it very low carb, I haven’t been able to work out how to do it. I got the carbs way down but don’t know how to get it under say 20-50g or basically zero doing the liquid thing, I think I have a temporary solution though.
