protein drinks make me feel like s*(@

Seems every time I suck up a protein drink, my stomach feels like crap afterwards. Is there anything I can add to my shake to help digest it or cut down on the quesy feeling? It doesn't matter if I mix with milk or not so I don't think it's a lactose problem.

I drink both EAS Simply protein and Myoplex Deluxe. I also use Myoplex Mass which doesn't seem to bother my stomach as much.

i agree w/ superstar drink slower. Don't get home so thirsty you want to down it all in a big gulp.

You could also try drinking lactose free whey. I think prolab and optimum's are lactose free. But definately try to drink slower. :spit:
 
Try Ginger Root and Flax oil

Along with the above advice try some ginger root before taking your protein drink with a tablespoon of flax oil in it. This seems work for me and others, it helps with the digestion and absorption of the protein. Hope I helped.

I get that also, I think it is from drinking it too fast as well. I felt like I was gonna puke today after I chugged 2 scoops mixed with 3 cups of milk. It was rough for about 20 mins after that but I managed not to hurl everywhere. :sick:

I am never going to drink them that quick again, phew!
 
Makes me feel the same way, After I drink a protein shake I always have to take a crap 30 minutes later. I wonder if my body is even taking in the protein?:confused:
 
dude jbw55 I got some EAS simply protein too, i've been taking diff powders for a long time, but everytime i take simply protein i feel like throwing up, i went on a bike ride after i drank one once and threw up. It seems like a pretty shitty protein actually..

i'm going with triple threat next :)
