Newbie question about overtraining

What's up y'all?I'm new to this board and am looking forward to being a part of it.I am in my 4th wk of a 10 wk fin/test cycle.I am currently doing full body workout 3x wk.MWF.I have been told lately that i am overtraining,and that i should only work each bodypart no more than 1x per week,even while on gear.How true is this?I'm 4 weeks in and i've gained a few pounds but not getting bigger.I know gear usually takes 4-5 wks to kick in,but i'm worried that i'm overtraining.Help.
 
No offense, but you should have figured out your plan of attack well in advance of getting on the gear. I've heard it's pretty hard to overtrain while juicing, but DC or 5x5 would probably get you much better gains. Either way, pick a program and stick with it.
 
so someone told you that you were overtraining!!

Its impossible for someone to know that simply by looking at your routine.

you can answer the question yourself by simply looking at all the components.

e.g. are you getting stronger? if you are I don't you are overtraining. if weight gain is the problem maybe its your diet. no improvement in size- are you training in the right rep range for hypertrophy etc etc.

Not true at all.

I'm 4 weeks in and i've gained a few pounds but not getting bigger.

Eat more, a lot more.
 
As long as you're not pushing with extreme intensity every training day, you should be good. Your friends that are training once a week are growing once a week. You will be growing 3 times a week. Which sounds preferable to you?

Oh, and eat a lot. When I bulk I eat at least 4000 calories a day, and that's natural. Shovel in the food, hell if I was juicing I'd take advantage of it and eat big every 2 hours.
