NEED that PROTEIN!!

They make life easier but if it makes you that exhausted to be down those couple of shake meals, get the protein other ways, The source doesnt' really matter as much as getting the protein.
Yeah, u are right. U always seem right on the money.I have been reading your posts since way b4 I ever posted anything myself. I do eat other protein.I eat chicken, tuna, nuts, LOVE eggs .... I just think that over those few days when I stopped drinking my shakes, I failed to up my intake with the other stuff. I usually eat a lot of the other stuff but whenever I am tired, like b4 bed and around breakfast time, I have always had a hard time eating.Sometimes I get really busy at work(where I usually am at b4 bedtime and in the morning)(sometimes, it's hard to get a chance to pee at work) and by the time I am awake enough to eat, it has been 2long and I am starving.That's why I usually do the shakes.They are easier for me to consume while tired.Sometimes the most busy part of my shift at work is when I am tired and don't feel like eating but since my job can be very physical at times, I don't want to starve my body of protein.So that's where the shakes come in.But the rest of the time, I eat about every 3 hours.I snack on boiled eggs, nuts, chicken, ect. But I DO understand the point u were trying to make and I totally agree.Thanx for the impute.I think it would all be easier for me to plan if I knew when I would be going to bed and waking up.Sometimes I am at work for 12 hours and sometimes I get stuck there for up to 36 hours.I usually just sleep when I can and eat real food when I am awake enough to eat.It's really funny when I miss a workout because of work.Everyone laughs at me when I am the crazy girl in the back of the ambulance trying to fit in pushups and tummy work.
 
I'm thiinking you put a banana in there. Somehow "banana flavored" reminds me of back in the day when the dentist gave u that gawdawful fluoride treatment and they'd try to convince you that it "really tasted like banana"... :sick:

Ordered myself some Next Proteins Choc. Peanut Caramel & Tropical Punch flavors today....Nummy nummy!!

The Chocolate peanut Caramel Rocks !!!!!!!!!!!!! My all time favorite, and it does taste awesome with some instant coffee thrown in. On the other hand, I can't stand the penicillin, oops I meant Tropical Punch. It's taste just like the thin version of penicillin, not the one that tastes like thick bubble gum, but the other thinner one. Yuck. I wasn't too fond of the strawberry either, which is surprising because strawberry is normally my favorite flavor (think icecream). However it does tastes better dressed up with strawberries and a banana. The regular chocolate sucks as does the French Vanilla, yet the Vanilla Praline is yummy. Remember to adjust your scoops on the Designer Whey so that you're actually intaking enough protein. I believe it has less protein per scoop versus ON.

The plain chocolate tastes amazing if u add a big spoon of natty PB. I usually mix it with ice in the blender or put it in the freezer for a few minutes so it gets really cold. Tastes like a choc.&PB shake.
