Need Help w/ ANPB Diet - Protein Source? Is Mr. X in the building?

I've been on the ANPB diet for 2 weeks now. Dropped about 13 lbs. so far, and I'm definitely slimmer. I'll post pics in a couple of weeks.

However, my protein is running low. I've been using some whey I got from a nutrition store, and I think that might be a problem. When I check the ketones in my urine with Ketostix i'm only showing small amounts of ketones. It never gets to the deep red/purple. Is it true that whey converts to glucose a lot faster than other sources of protein?

Should I get whey, casein, or egg white protein for my next 3 weeks on the ANPB diet?

Yes, whey does convert to glucose, probably because of its very rapid absorption. A caseinate or milk isolate would be a better general use powder choice. Oh, before someone chimes in with the obligatory, "get your protein from real food post", just make sure you consume adequate varied protein sources.

well, an alternative would be to get 3 lbs. of casein and 3 lbs. of egg white and just alternate throughout the day.

i suppose i could eat a can of tuna every once in a while too.
