My Girlfriend is making a stink about Carb Countdown

She says they don't call it milk, they call it "homogenized dairy beverage", so it's not real milk, just like cheese slices say "cheese food" and aren't real cheese.

Is Carb Countdown actual milk they change around or is it a product they just put together from scratch and color it like milk?

I think that it is still milk, as it has lactose in it. I think that all that is happening is that they remove the sugars from it and re-sweeten it with splenda.

It is basically water'd down fat free milk and they add in calcium casienate and a few other things. Carb countdown has the same thing for orange juice as well. They just take 1 part of O.J. and add 1 Part of water and then double the price for the consumer. LOL.

I love the chocolate carb countdown. I was actually drinking lots of it when in ketosis. My wife and I go through a half gallon every 2 days. I eat all my oatmeal with it. Tastes good to mix 1 cup oats with 1.5 cups chocolate carb countdown and 25 grams whey.

I don't know what I would do without it now. I am addicted to the stuff. Thanks to whom ever posted about this product a few months ago. It is the bomb.
