Indigestion/Nausea/Can't Eat - on TRT for a year please help!

I have been on HRT for over a year now with no issues, I am taking the following:

200mg test cyp/week
25mg anavar (oxandrolone) troches under tongue in the morning once/day
Sermorelin

My Dr. also has me on several supplements, liver aides blends like milk thistle, green tea, pomegranate, a saw palmetto blend with beta-sitosterols etc, some lipid supplements like red yeast rice and gugguls, vitamin B complez, niacin, etc. etc.

I also take a probiotic every night

I've never had an issue until now, I am going on month 4 of taking the anavar 25mg/day. The first 3 month were fine until about 2 weeks ago. I am burping after meals, nauseas, can't eat, etc. I know it is NOT GERD.

I have taken tren in the past, I AM NOT on tren right now. But the tren gave me the same issues with my stomach, the inability to digest food, always feeling full. Antacids don't help. I'm almost thinking its a lack of stomach acid maybe? Betaine HCl with pepsin maybe?

Is it high progesterone? High DHT maybe?

I have been fine all year, and fine for 3 months on the anavar. No changes in diet or supplements of PED. I know anavar can cause stomach issues but not at this low of a dose...

I get a FULL set of labs done every 3 months, everything is fine.
I have also had a stool test done a few months ago and all was good.

Any suggestions on how to get rid of this nausea and make my stomach start digesting food again? I NEED TO EAT!!

Thanks!

Orals play havoc with your stomach i would start taking prilosec(OTC) over the counter, every day and see if that helps.Warning do not take longer than 14 days.

I know that it is still considered an "oral" but these are troches under the tongue, which are a little better. It is ONLY 25mg/day.... most stomach issues i have read about are 50-100mg/day...

Prilosec doesn't work because it is NOT GERD... It may be a lack of acid, not too much. PPI's give me gall stones...

I had a scope done a few years back when I had the same issues (I was on tren) the diagnosis was "lazy stomach" the dr gave me Reglan which made my prolactin go through the roof. I got off tren and problem fixed.

Any other suggestions? I have obviously tried antacids and PPI's and that is NOT the issue...

Thank you for replying though, I'm trying to stay on the low dose of anavar (as my dr. prescribed) and still be able to eat and not be nauseas. I wish it were just as simple as taking tums/prilosec/zantac...

Well i wish it was just as easy as taking a prilosec, myself and my members that i train sometimes have to take prilosec due to orals such as Dieselbolin and beastdrol this oral sits and disolve slowly in the stomach so after a week of this the stomach lining needs some help i have also found that if the oral is tablets or capsule is to Grind the tab up until it is powder swallow with a bit of water followed by a protein shake same goes with the capsule, open up. and take the powder followed by a shake.
I would at least give that a try, starting somewhere is better than sitting there doing nothing, remember nothing ventured = nothing gained.

ok thanks again

These are troches though, they are refrigerated and dissolve under the tongue... so they never sit in my stomach

the last time I tried Prilosec I had some really bad gall stone attacks, I researched it and there is a connection - PPI's can make other conditions like that worse.

thanks again for taking the time

Does anyone else have any suggestions besides prilosec/zantac/tums?

I think I may have a LACK of acid - which would mean take betain hcl with pepsin... any experience?

I used to work at a hospital, so i'm not giving up yet.
Brew some dandelion extract tea (available at health food stores). This herb can help improve digestion and relieve constipation. Or sip 1 to 2 oz of aloe vera juice (it comes in different flavors): Because it's thought to lower stomach acid levels, doctors sometimes recommend it for occasional use as a natural way to speed up your bowels.

Eat the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) of easy-to-digest foods, and take an OTC medicine like Imodium (loperamide), which slows down intestinal contractions, or Pepto-Bismol (bismuth subsalicylate), which coats the stomach and protects it from irritation.Try melatonin supplements (best known for helping you sleep). "Melatonin is surprisingly effective for diarrhea related to IBS [irritable bowel syndrome], This may be because melatonin quiets our gut and prepares our system for sleep. A cup or two of black tea and/or a glass of red wine may also help. Also Cocoanut water along with herbal tea may also help.
Eat a little something, and stay hydrated. "An empty stomach can worsen nausea because there's nothing to absorb all its acid and juices," also some mint or ginger may help also.
Last but not least Licorice is an age-old remedy with some modern support—studies show it has antiinflammatory properties that can extend to the digestive system. If you try it, be sure to use DGL (deglycyrrhizinated) tablets. They contain no glycyrrhizin, a compound believed to induce water retention and high blood pressure, Good luck my friend.

thanks for the suggestions!

I put a call into my Dr., I'm sure I will hear from him by tomorrow but he is an HRT specialist and his office is a 2.5 hour drive from me... and I work a full time job, so I was hoping to try something before resorting to that. Thanks again so much guys!

I know that probably wasn't what you wanted to hear, but they're gonna know best.

Absolutely, there is only so much anyone can do by just throwing suggestions, you need More than a HRT Dr I would see specialist.
