I'm a newbee here. I have hypothyroid/Hashimoto's disease. My T3 is the bad one. I'm on Cytomel which keeps me in the normal range. It does nothing else for me. I'm also on Synthroid even though there was nothing wrong with my T4.
Loosing weight is VERY hard for me. I've probably tried every diet out there.
I eat very good. I try to eat small measured out meals every 2-3 hours. No junk-food allowed in my house. I'm carb and sugar sensitive. Extremely lactose intolerant and cannot have soy products. I can't even eat oatmeal anymore. My body works the opposite of normal people. Caffeine has no affect on me. Sugar and carbs put me to sleep instead of giving me a boost. I'm currently trying the P90X series workout. Just started it. I get bored easily with working out so I try new workouts alot. I work out at home because I have not time to get to a club with working 2 jobs.
I'm hoping to convince my doctor to give me a blood test for food allergies this week.
So that's my story.....and I'm stickin' to it.
