OK. first of imma give you my body type and shape... im 5 foot 6inches, 120 pounds, and im 14 about to turn 15. I have started a weight lifting class at school its Monday through Friday, and the class is 1 hour and 30 minutes long. I am naturally cut i have abs and pecks. What i want to do though is get bigger not fat bigger but muscle bigger. I talked to my weightlifting coach and he said the only way to do that is to eat more and put on a little weight. The thing is though how can i do this and stil stay cut like i am. A diet would be nice or just some guidelines to go by. Don't worry about the workout plan the weightlifting class will take care of that.

Also how many inches of pure muscle would i put on my arms in 18 weeks of hard lifiting, 5 days a week with out puting on extra weight.

1 more thing what is a good suppliment i can take to help me gte strong and bigger.

Any advice would be helpful.. Thanks

id do a clean bulk maybe 50Protein 30cab 20 fat and have it be 500 more calories then you normally consume... are you taking protein powder right now? if your diet is doing fine for you adding a scoop when you wake up and 1 at night and 1-2 after lifting might be enough extra calories to build some muscle

Just eat more protein and carbs PWO and that'll fix everything...
LOL and

Seriously @ 5'6 and 120 I wouldn't worry about the staying cut part

Generally you start with a small calorie surplus and keep increasing it until u start adding fat - thats how I guage cals needed for a lean bulk. Obviously as you get larger you will need more cals.

But +1 to 5'6 and 120 - gust aim to add more muscle for now.

listen to your coach. and maybe talk to your doctor the next time you see him. unlike most ef members he knows the important differences between a 14 yo body and an adult body. (no offence intended to any one) staying lean while weight lifting is depriving your body of much needed nutrients. you need to keep a large reserve at all times because your body is trying to grow and recover in many ways vs. the adult where our body is only trying to recover and grow from our w/o. even when you are an adult it is better to carry a little extra bf than staying lean while building muscle. you can always cut when you need to.

since your body is still growing (bones, organs, skin, etc), calories wont preferentially go to muscle growth. It will go to overall growth. just eat healthy and workout smart.
