OK. first of imma give you my body type and shape... im 5 foot 6inches, 120 pounds, and im 14 about to turn 15. I have started a weight lifting class at school its Monday through Friday, and the class is 1 hour and 30 minutes long. I am naturally cut i have abs and pecks. What i want to do though is get bigger not fat bigger but muscle bigger. I talked to my weightlifting coach and he said the only way to do that is to eat more and put on a little weight. The thing is though how can i do this and stil stay cut like i am. A diet would be nice or just some guidelines to go by. Don't worry about the workout plan the weightlifting class will take care of that.

Also how many inches of pure muscle would i put on my arms in 18 weeks of hard lifiting, 5 days a week with out puting on extra weight.

Any advice would be helpful.. Thanks

alright young bro. heres the deal.

Eating is the #1 thing that will make you grow with your Lifting, and Sleep (Recovery).

Heres what you gotta eat to grow: Eggs, Oats, Whole Wheat Bread, Tuna, Chicken Breasts, Salmon, Milk, Red Meat (Ex. Steak), Lean Turkey,

Yogurt, Nuts (Almonds) Berries, (Straw, ras, blue), brown rice, dry pasta, LOTS of fiborous veggies, Peanut Butter and Honey for extra cals,

you can even throw in a double

cheesburger or large pizza or a couple once or twice a week. just be sure to eat frequent and a lot and work hard.

as for lifting. check out the weightlifting section. post your age, goals, and stats. People will be sure to help you out.

there are many stickies about lifting. madcow2's 5x5 is popular among the site. and many younger people get great gains off of it. I know

when i was your age (16) i was around 5'7 160lbs, and went to 185 but packed on 45lbs on bench, 70 on squat, and 75 on my power clean. I was

eating like that though. Madcow's 5x5

EAT BIG, LIFT BIG, AND TRAIN HARD! good luck

Your coach is right. You have to be willing to compromise some of your definition to put on some size. You need to be eating 3500 calories a day bro.

It's extremely difficult to stay ripped & lean and still put on significant muscle mass and strength.

It's impossible to say. I can't say "2 inches" because it's unrealistic to guess. Just eat big and lift hard. The results will follow. How much results depends on how much food you put in your mouth.

No supplements for youngsters and beginners. Just lots of food.

Any advice would be helpful.. Thanks

^^ See my reply in bold.

Get in a shitload more protein and good carbs while maintaining a good clean diet. Train 4 days a week only. Less is more.
