I'm 34 5'6" 170#'s at about 15% BF. I am 5 1/2 weeks into a cutting diet. I weighed myself this morning (like I do every tuesday morning), and gained 2lbs (168#'s to 170#).
Just doesnt make sense to me. I chart everything I eat, and avg 1800 cals this last week. I also added an extra hour of cardio this week (and will add another hour next week). And the real kicker....I am on day 7 of clen (the peak of my taper) along with T-rex, glucorall, and sesa...

I dont get it, I know I strugle to cut...but adding 2 lbs on 1800 cals??? The most I can ever loose is about 1/2 lb a week anyway, so I am planning on doing this for the long haul....but FUCK...all this work to gain!!! along with the money I spent on the sups and clen (and I have t-3, but am waiting to use it). Just a little frustrated. Was looking foreward to finally dropping more than my usual 1/2 lb this week. The only good news is my stregth hasnt changed.

Is there somehow this is water or something?? Maybe the clen is really dbol lol.

Bro there are lots of things you can do, have you done anything with your carbs? Is that cardio am empty stomach (that helps me a lot). Are you still lifting weights too? Perhaps split your workouts into a cardio session than later a weight session. How about a cheat day, when was your last one? If it's been a couple weeks go eat a steak/pasta/meatloaf dinner lol. but really. Have you given an ECA stack a try, some like it better than clen, clen looses its effectiveness after 2 weeks remember. Good luck brotha.

Numbers aside, how do you LOOK? What other ways do you track your progress? Take measurements? Take pics for side-by-sides? Can you SEE any changes?

I have no clue what your diet is ... maybe you need to adjust something if you're stepping it up a notch with the training ... many factors can be the cause here.

Are you angry that the # on the scale went up or that the mirror says you're staying at the same bf %?

It is very possible to gain some muscle when cutting... I've done it. No biggie unless you're unhappy with your mirror progress. Maybe it's just time to change up your meals and/or training regimine.

I like clen

Oh and how's your H20 intake... up around 1 gallon hopefully ed.

Posted right before me.... lol.

Listen to Buns... she's a good little rabbit ;)

I feel like I am losing BF.... As far as my diet, it is very clean, with one cheat NIGHT a week (usually a meal plus dessert) I tend to get into a rut VERY easily, and that is why I am adding/changing things up on a weekly basis.

I would love to do cardio in the morning on an empty stomach, but I have a newborn that I have to help take care of.....so I only get about 1-2 hours to workout a day and have to do weights then too (when I am not at the firehouse....and at the firehouse, the earliest I can workout is 9am, and I get up at 6am....so I have to eat.)

I guess I just need to put the scale away, and trust that I am doing everything right and the BF will come off.

ps: I plan on ECA, starting the day I end my clen. It will be ECA for 2 weeks, then T-rex for 2, then clen again. Then a cycle of tren, and thats when I will add the T-3 (taper up and down and what not for 21 days)

Thanks for all the positive feedback and encouragement.

^^ that's what counts!

No problem... There's nothing like lookin in the mirror and liking what you see opposed to a scale which we've all grown up using to judge how we "look."

your calories are really low. you could try calorie and carb cycling to keep your metabolism guessing. i would think sticking with calories that low you'll plateau quick. also, you may be doing too much cardio and dont even think of t3 without aas or your chew up muscle like its your job.
