So far today: woke up at 9am

1/3 cup dry oatmeal made with water + 1 tblsp flax meal
1 egg yolk, 4 egg whites, little bit of catsup, ~ 1 tsp olive oil

Nice breakfast :) Have you ever tried Barleen's high lignon flax oil? It's good stuff. Why the olive oil?

I had 3/4 c oats with 6 almonds and a good half cup or more of my special yogurt (contains flax oil and billions of happy gut bacteria)--carbing up for a hellacious, oh-my-god-i'm-going-to-die leg workout this afternoon. Bring it on!

I do have Flax Oil in my fridge -- not sure of the brand. As for the olive oil I use it so the eggs won't stick to the pan during cooking. Plus it adds a bit of healthy fat to the meal.

~ 11:30 am: walk to gym 30 mins, Chest & Tris, 10 min on elliptical, walk home 30 mins

1:30: 1 can Chix + Rice soup + added veggies + small piece chicken, 8 RF Wheat Thins

Edit: Dinner ~ 6:00 pm -- butter lettuce w/olive oil, balsamic vinegar, dried cherries, roasted red peppers, bleu cheese, celery; piece of tuna steak; twice-baked sweet potato; and a glass of wine....

Handful of nuts is an extremely SMART snack. It is high in good fats, a protein source, low in carbs. The nutrient makeup of nuts help you feel satisfied, as well as gives you energy until your next meal. It's not like he is eating only nuts. I always strongly suggest people eat a handful of nuts between bigger, food meals.

I'll add on my food choices starting tomorrow. Today is yet another cheat day....although it is 10:47am and I have only eaten 3 crackers so far.....waiting to go to brunch......hubby is being a slug on the couch watching football.... :)

I love this thread...keep on posting!!! :)

OK I thought about this alot this weekend. I've been draggin because of getting settled in a new job in a new city and a really aggravating lower back problem. I've got most of the lower back problem addressed & am just about ready to re-establish a new training routine that will support my "rehabilitation".

When my trainer gets back from the holiday I'll get the weight (EEEK!) and bf (DOUBLE EEK!) done. I'll start a new journal thread tonite. Not even gonna wait until Jan 1. Time to commit!
