am i going to hard on leg day?

whenever leg day comes around i almost die at the end.. my ears always block, i walk like im a drunk, and i just feel really sick in general (like im gonna puke)..
but still im only doing 4 sets of 8 reps heavy weights..
is this normal?
 
Legs are a large muscle group so you will produce alot of lactic acid which what is making your sick. Don't quit working the legs, big legs = big body.
 
Work with other factors. Food, time between eating and lifting, breathing while lifting, o2 intake. Just play with it...you should not pe throwing up every workout...you should adapt.

give yourself a bit more time between sets to let some of the lactic acid clear, which is causing your nausea.
 
I don't feel like it was a good work out unless i can't walk or either have a headache or feel sick. And i should feel that way by the end of the work out which is an hour long. Starting off with SQUATs of course.

It just sounds like you had a good leg workout :).... its almost the same for me, i feel kinda drunk and like i cant walk... but i dont know about the ear thing.
