Solution to Overtraining?

I'm pretty sure I've been overtraining. I took a two week layoff about a month ago and when I came back I was rested, but still lifting exactly the same weight/reps! This leads me to conclude that prior to vacation I was overtraining; working out 5 days a week and I was not lifting my optimum amounts.

Now for the last month I have been working out 4/5 days a week, trying to bulk, eating a lot but mostly clean. I'm building muscle and getting bigger, however my energy levels for my workouts have dropped and I've found myself slacking off.

Should I switch to a 3 day a week split? I don't see how I could work all my muscles effectively in only 3 days. Anyone else only work 3 days a week and still make progress?
Or should I start popping some ECA or something to help my energy levels?

Yes, switch to a 3 day split.

You can easily work all of your muscle groups effectively in 3 days.
