Right now I am on top of the world
October 5th was the first day I ever did single rep DLs, probably the third time I'd done deads. That day I pulled 235.
Tonight I wasn't feeling especially motivated but I went to lift anyway. When I got there I felt great though. I repped 225 for 3 sets of 5 easily. I'd been planning to max on deads next week but my buddy talked me into doing it tonight since I was feeling so strong.
Now the first (but smaller) milestone for me was repping the bar with 2 wheels on each side.
So we put a 25 on each side and I pulled it twice, 275 was PR a few weeks ago.
I was feeling good after that, so I took a good rest, slide a 10 on each side and pulled up 295. This is a huge milestone for me since I weigh 147 wearing sweats and a tshirt, meaning I just made my double body-weight deadlift!!!!!! I'd been wanting to pull a double-weight dead since I started lifting, now 8 weeks later I added 60 lbs and did it
